Many artists have illustrated the Bible; but the most considerable work is without question that by Gustave Doré (designer) and his collaborators (engravers), whose signatures you may see sometimes at the bottom of the pictures (G. Doré on the left, the engraver on the right). That famous Bible, known as 'Bible of Suttgart', was issued in 1865 and contains 230 illustrations. We decided to republish that document 'in extenso' with all the pictures entirely 'remastered' in 3D. Most of the 3D pictures on display are just samples (= drafts).
