In the waiting room before the audition. By the way, do you recognize the girl? She should be eight or nine, not more, and surely dreamed at that time of nothing, but classical ballet. Apparently she was found later too tall to act as a ballerina. If you have keen eyes you should be able to recognize that future and very famous French actress. Unfortunately the girl appeared as a starlet in a lot of bad movies, being considered (in the same way as Marilyn Monroe) by too many bad directors (cf. a certain dilettante named Roger Vadim) just a sex symbol, one of her greatest roles, if not the greatest ever, being in my opinion that of the girl facing a criminal trial in La Vérité (The Truth) by Henri-Georges Clouzot. Besides that, at first sight I found the photograph quite strange: "It should remind me of something, but what?". A young ballerina attending a ballet school. The lady besides her should be the mother, aunt or some relative. A completely banal image, and nevertheless something sounded really strange...
