As a photographer (among other occupations) I must confess that I don't find (top) models very interesting: because they look so artificial and use so much make up! Why should a so called "beautiful woman" need to put so much cream on her nose? To understand how ordinary those girls are, you just need to observe them closely. One day, strolling across Paris, I happened to meet Claudia S., a famous model called 'the world's most beautiful girl' by journalists. At a very short distance I realized that she looked really ordinary, with tons of paint on her face! All the contrary of girls in sports!
Do you want an example? Among a lot of examples, here we have Federica Pellegrini, the great Italian swimmer... I just turned the 2D photograph into a 3D one. Such a beautiful face doesn't need any make up, does it? Nothing, but some drops of water!
Some of the pictures (2D > 3D) on display come from the Internet; I shot the rest myself.
Anyway, I often happen to meet young girls obsessed with the ambition to become models. Why should I discourage them from dreaming of expensive dresses and fashion shows? Thus I began to help some of them make a 'book', not an ordinary one, but a '3D book'.
By the way, taking example on other countries, the French members of Parliament recently decided to forbid any activity to too thin (=moved to anorexia by stupid people, first of all some men hating women!) models. In a time where some teenagers (girls!) tend to think 'skinny is beautiful', we can just say: "At last!"
Reminder: all pictures are in '.gif' format; therefore, some defects due to the compression and the low resolution (72 dpi) could be visible.
By the way, do I have to confess that I am always impressed by the magical and mysterious beauty of oriental women, whether with scarf/veil or not (but, for sure sometimes with...)? There are some samples above; and here you have another one... (More)
