The picture that you are currently watching is one of the first color photographs ever, by two brilliant and incredible inventors: the Lumière brothers. I already wrote about the 'autochrome' on this website (see WWI and Paul Castelnau), but here we have an original autochrome by the Lumière themselves. Two hours were necessary to turn this 'Still life' into a stereoscopy, and I am still working on it! |
